He's not cause he say "you know" all the time and he is so proud to say 'nonetheless' so basicaly it's a french who is very fluent in english. The "you know" thing say it all
Anyway, congrats to him, we can all praise his dedication to learn a language so well
Edit : maybe i'm wrong but he say he could be from england and what i hear is mostly and american accent so it dont fit that well. But i could be wrong
Oh here i heard "quite a LOT" which is very english thing. So i assume that you correct it from your precedent post. I feel like that anyway.
Also a thing, you said a french word with a very strong english accent. Doesn't make sense at all, you are here on the 18-25. You speak french.
So here is my final guess : you are very fluent in english but you are french. Maybe you lived some time in an english speaking country.

Can we discuss about the anus coloration of Thaïs OfTheScuAsshole?I believe it is an important topic but it tends to be seen as some form of taboo on this forum
What color is that anus ?
I don't think that anus coloration is a taboo at all actualy. It's a pretty central topic in any society that worked well

It's one thing to know how to write words in English, it's another thing to write sentence like a native English speaker would do. The way, we, french, construct our ideas in our head is very very different than them (the language shape our thoughts), so even with perfect gramar and all, we still sound "french", even with texts.

Speaking with non-native speakers is the worst thing you could do as a language learner, you'll end up learning bad habits that will be very hard to unlearn later on. Just my 2 centsI don't think so, especialy here where everybody can't wait to correct each other to show how better they are. That's particulary true when it come to sensitive topics, and i'm sure we will get there pretty soon if the thread survive the moderation
And it's a good thing. You know, most of the french do have a decent level in english but they just never practice. So can correct each other pretty easely i guess
Your English is good and you seem to know a wide range of expressions and idioms but I can't help but feel like there's some sort of unnaturalness in the way you speak. Not that I'm any better of course, but I think you'd benefit from interacting with native speakers

That's seems pretty accurate mate. To me the question it's not about "look like native english speaker" but to practice in order to be in capacity of communicate more easely.
For exemple i can understand mostly all of the english words and sentences, but i'm a dick to express myself in english cause i never practice. It's two different things.
So sound french is ok, especialy french in fact cause it's viewed as a really cool spawn

That's exactly what I wrote up there. Best place to train this shit is on 4chan, people will call him ESL fag almost instantly kek

They'd call you an ESL too though
But yeah I do agree that 4chan is a good place to hang out in if you want to improve your English

And you're perfectly right mate. I didn't really practice since years. So i understand pretty well but when it come to express myself it's mostly a disaster. And i wont pretend the opposite, to me there is no shame in it and i'm not here to pretend that i'm better than anyone else.
That's why a created this topic, to practice with the khey. But yeah, practicing with native would be a good thing to.
For the moment i'm in France but if i have to move for work for exemple, i will take some oral english lessons for sure.
