"Student, 18, killed by ketamine and alcohol mix on first night at university. A student was killed by ketamine and alcohol within hours of starting her new life at university, an inquest has heard. Jeni Larmour, 18, described as "a model pupil" by her former headmaster, was an accomplished student and classical singer who was about to embark on a degree in planning and architecture at university.

However the teenager consumed a fatal combination of the anaesthetic drug ketamine and alcohol on the first night in her student flat on campus at Newcastle University. Miss Larmour was found by paramedics at 5am on Oct 3 2020, by which time it was already clear to them that she was dead."
